O ya with a new mission president theres a new website if you want to check it out. floridaorlandomission.com. Pretty simple haha.

O goodness I met my first Nicaraguan this week. So crazy. haha. I was so happy to meet her and now i can tell Justin that I met a Nicaraguan lady. She was a little quiet. Remember Hermana Cabrerra and how she has lunches every Tuesday. Well ya she had the Lady there so that was pretty sweet. 😀

O goodness and another Miracle. Dennis Cabrerra is just awesome. So last sunday she brought some of her friends to church with her. It was a couple. Well we had this lady sign up for dinner on tuesday that we didn’t know who it was. But anyways we called her set it up. At the last min she asked if we could eat over at Dennis’. So we went over there and it was the lady she brought to chuch. Totally solid. She’ll get baptized. Just not by us. haha. But still it was so sweet!!!

O my goodness I forgot the biggest miracle of the week….. AAAAAAAHHHH…. So Yara. My baptism… Well her husband Pedro. Less active that came back. Well he got permission to baptize his kids. So Chance who is 12 and his daughter… Don’t remember her name but She’s 8. But we’re going to go teach them and get them ready. They’ll be baptized the 4 of augest so if I do get my visa this next week which is very possible then I won’t be here. But it will still be amazing! Such a miracle!!!!! 😀 Gotta love those miracles!!! 😀

O ya so we went over to this other less active member. Ingred Sandova From honduras. But she made us some super good food. Yum Yum. haha gotta love food. I’m sure loving it haha. maybe a little too much but o well haha. But anyways she refered us to her neighbor. His name is Cesar. Totally solid too. He’s 19. He told Ingred that he wants to be a missionary. I feel like that’s what most teens want when we meet them. Which is awesome! A mission would absolutely solidify their testimony! but ya he’s super sweet.

O Ya we sold Elder Olsens bike this week. He’s going home on the 31st. So weird. Time is just flying. But ya he’s kinda freaking out. I would be scared too if I was going home. The mission is just awesome. He’s such a good missionary too. I’ve been blessed to be his companion. and Elder Meza is just laughing but he’s feeling the same. He’s only got 6 more weeks than elder Olsen.

Hmm then you got Juan……. Turns out he Lied to us and he did drink like 3 or 4 times. Kinda rough. but it was good because then you get to teach the atonement and keep pushing him on. We went by the other day and he wasn’t there but his son and his daughter in law were. Yessica and Marvin. We taught them and it was great. Marvin has the humility of Juan. Like father like son. But ya through Marvin we feel that Juan and everybody will come around and be baptized. It will be great! Just amazing!!! 😀

Hmm Just know I”m doing great. I’m truly loving the mission. Sounds like everything is going great at home. Love you all!! 😀

Hmm bike weeks are always a little bit more rough than car weeks. But they are all good. You just push through and love them all. We ended up riding 26 miles on Wednesday. Thats always fun. But halve way through we stopped at an ice cream place called Twisty Treat and got some ice cream haha. Always a pleasant stop haha. But ya bikes always tend to slow down the work a little bit. But I love riding bikes. It just takes longer to get places haha.

So I’ve told you all about the Member Dennis… Well she did her work again this week. She set up a Family Home evening for us with Norma. Do you remember Norma? Well her Boyfriend was able to be there and we taught a lesson on faith. So good. They both understand very well. Both ready for the gospel right once they get enough time. Because he works so many hours. So ya thats rough but they are awesome.

Then Dennis pulled through again on Tuesday for our lunch. But first we met pres. Berry. What a great guy. He is definetly different Than president Hall but Its what the mission needs. Not that pres. Hall isn’t. Its just like with everything in life. Everything has a phase and now its the phase for Pres. Berry. So ya that will be awesome! He will do some miracles. Then we went to Dennis after that. and we didn’t have our bikes but the Elders we rode with just dropped us off at her house because we were running late. But ya Dennis pulled through with two new people that wanted to listen. So great. One was really really interested. Then not even that but on sunday she brought two friends too. So great haha. What a great missionary. After Lunch at Dennis though we walked home. Walking is so different. I would much rather ride bikes than walk. But lucky for me in argentina I get to walk haha. That will be good though. I’m excited haha. We got a new couple in our mission. I DOn’t know if I told you this or not. But they are part of our ward. They are the Neilsons. They are awesome. We went over and had dinner with them. That was great. They were waiting for 8 months for their visa and never got it so they were permanently reasigned to this mission. So that was good to be able to relate with them! 😀

Thursday we had temple service. I got to mow some lawns… Kinda. Just everywhere the ride mowers couldn’t get. It was a push mower. I loved it. Its so much fun to just work. I love working. haha. I’m weird. But ya it was good to just make a difference. and do somthing besides pulling weeds :D. We also went over to the Perez again. Such an awesome family. they would do anything for us. But they got offended so they don’t go to church. They are moving to sandy soon. They’re hoping to get a fresh start there! haha. So that will be good.

Saturday we had some good stuff too. Futbol! awe ya. That was good. Then We had a dinner with a member of the bishoprick. So sad where they live… They seem like they do pretty good for themselves. Inside their house it was super nice. But the apartment area around it… I wouldn’t leave my family there if I had one. So scary. So that was interesting. Its amazing what people do to live here. What people Sacrifice….

Ruth (Rute… But we found out that her real name is Ruth…. haha.) Well we went over there and she was having problems with why we didn’t worship and pray the the virgin Merry. That that was rough. She was so ready for baptism but something changed.. Its hard to say what but it changed. I think she will be baptized eventually be right now she’s just not ready. Its amazing what reading and not reading really does to your testimony.

Juan…. So amazing!! We met with him finally. He didn’t drink… haha. He was just gone fishing with his friend all weekend and he didn’t drink. His friend offered him some and he said no… So awesome. He’s a stud. But He didn’t come to church yesterday. That was a little rough. But we’ll get him there! He’s ready for it!

Hmm Minurba…. Kinda rough. She’s been moving all week. Well not her but some family that lives with her moved. So ya. We couldn’t quite get by to see her. But she wants it. So hopefully this week!

Well the work is progressing and I’m loving it! Its a little slow but its good. The mission in all is such a blessing. Such a good Mountain to climb. To get to see the next one. I’m so blessed to have the ability to climb higher every day. Thank you for your letters and your words of encouragement!

Push on and do your best!

That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do, not that the nature of the thing is changed, but our power to do it is increased!

Where to start where to start. I don’t even know where to start. The mission is just going way to fast!! AAHH!  We had the car this week so that was sweet. O ya did i mention I got a new mission president? President Berry. So sweet. Haven’t met him yet though. But at this rate I’m gonna have 4 mission Presidents! Pretty awesome huh?? haha.

This week was the 4th of july week. I’ve decided that holliday weeks are probably always going to be slow. But its also great at the same time. So many miricles. Awe ya! Hmm But along with the holiday came a sad time for Juan…. He’s been out drinking for as far as we know for the last bit. We haven’t been able to get ahold of him. Rough rough. But its all good. But once we get ahold of him and teach him again he’ll want to continue on the path. Everybody has their time of down. But the atonement is there to bring them back up! Awe ya ha

Rute…. She hasn’t been reading much but I think it’ll all be good. She’ll get it done. She keeps going back to the same thing about her doubts and we told her that if she reads the scriptures then her questions will be answered. which is true. THey need to keep the commitments in order for them to recieve answers. so true. Always read your scriptures!! Such a blessing for your life. Even if its only a little bit.

So miracle of the week happened yesterday. We have been trying to follow up with for a long time now. Well we finally followed up on it got her home. Family of 4 and all of them want to be baptized. And one of them Minerba totally set her own date. She had been taking lessons from other missionaries before she moved here and right before her baptism she had a stroke. So she went off the missionaries radar. and now she’s here and she is like I have to go to church twice before I can be baptized right? so 3 weeks and she’s getting baptized! Awe ya!! 😀

This week we’ve been seeing a lot of less actives. so rough. But we had dinner with this one lady. So sad her situation. She would totally go to chuch but she doesn’t have a car. and her husband left her a while ago. Just sad. We are so blessing to live in a place like we do.

Anyways ready for dad to be jealous???????? You think the hill by the temple is good. Try on the temple!! awe ya we watched the fireworks on the temple. and here its so flat so we got to see disneys fireworks and universals and the cities fireworks. So sweet. I loved it!! It was more cool to jsut be on the roof of the temple though!! Took A ton of pictures!! You’ll love them.

One more thing. Argentina is going to be the death of me…… I ate so much meet this week. I can eat meat like nothing else….. I put on 10 pounds this last week. But I’m  sure I’ll loose a lot on the bikes this week. But ya it was crazy bad… I just kept eating. SO much food and so good. My pants are even getting a little tight. its bad haha. O well I’ll be sure to work out more!

Well that was my week. Pretty great week. Full of miracles. Love you all!!!

July 1, 2013

This week has been a good one. An interesting one for sure. But all in all a good one. The work is progressing very nicely. haha. After the training last week we tried to put a very big part of our work getting members to go with us. Its so hard. The people here work so hard to do all the things they need to do. and since most of them are new to the area they are working the jobs that do odd hours so its hard. What they did to a different stake here is they dissolved it and so there wasn’t a spanish ward anymore. I bet thats what they do to this ward pretty soon too. But it will be for the better. It really would. 😀

anyways got a couple stories this week. It was a bike week but luckly we only got drenched once this week haha. But thats later on in the week. So theres this lady named Dennis. She’s a sweet memeber. She signed up for a lunch for us to come over. So we’re on our way there on bikes and right outside of her house we are contacting this Argentinian Lady. So sweet. I loved that for sure. haha. But anyways we’re contacting her and all the sudden Dennis comes out and invites her to come in and eat with her. So we’re all on our way in and we get in the house and she has two more non members in there haha. It was a picture perfect lesson. Just from the training and everything. We didn’t even know about it but she had it all planned out.  It was so sweet. A dream come true haha. So the two that she had there weren’t really interested but we did set it up to do that ever tuesday where we come over and teach and then have food after. Its so perfect. and the argininian lady set it all up. Said she’s gonna bring the food tomorrow. Its gonna be great hehe.

Okay next story. We go and try to find this family that we’ve never met. We knock on the door and this guy answers the door. In a tank top and everything. I seriously thought we had the wrong hous and all of the sudden he’s like “O the missionaries. I served a mission myself. I know I dont’ look like it right now but I did serve a mission.” He went on to tell us about his mission in hungry and how after he got back he met a girl and just went down hill from there haha. But how she just left him and how he’s been working witht the bishop to get his recomend back. He actually is moving to Ogden with his family for school. He’s such an awesome guy. We started to share a little lesson with him. and after the first prayer he started crying. He taught us. He’s like “you guys just have such a strong spirit. Its been so long since ive felt that. Its like the MTC spirit. Its just so strong. Its amazing how you guys know just were to go at just the right time. I was just laying here thinking about how crappy my life is and then you show up. Thats just what you get to do as a missionary. you just show up everywhere at the right time.” It really just made me think about the power we all have. We all have the Holy Ghost with us. Let us use it every day to bless the lives of others.

Now to the stories of the investigators. Dad favorite part haha.

Rute: So ready to get baptized. She will get baptized the 28th of this month weather she has a new job or not. She’s ready to quit if thats what she has to do. Its so amazing her example of faith. But better yet she has all of her friends looking for a job with her. She’s so awesome! We taught her the law of the fast and told her to fast about it. She’s so ready to be dunked haha. I love it! But ya She’s just awesome. 😀

Juan: Juan is clean of drinking for I think 2 weeks now. So ready to be baptized. He’s just so much more happier. I love seeing the change. We have all decided that he just wants to preach the gospel. That He wants to be a preacher haha. He tries so hard. He doesn’t have a ton of schooling. Isn’t the spartest one in the bunch but that doesn’t matter. He’s doing his best. Reading everything we give him. He’s so awesome. He makes us laugh but hes awesome. we went over last night and he pulled out this notebook of notes he had taken. He’s taking notes. It wasn’t the best but it just makes me happy to know how hard he is truely trying. He loves the gospel and Its amazing the watch the change come over people! Even his cousin when we went by yesterday was like “Thanks for really working with him.’ She’s not a memeber. She’s actually an eternigator also but its all good. She is seeing the change in his life and thats whats important! He is gonna be the example for the rest of the people in that house and its gonna be awesome!

Zulay: She came to church! Such a blessing. I feel like she loved it. But she did leave an hour early. But its all good. We dicided she needs to grow more converted to chrisianity before she can be converted to the gospel. ITs like she doesn’t have a firm enough blief in God yet. So she will take a bit of time but she is humble and it will come. She’s so awesome.  😀

Hmm the bikes were good. I love riding bikes. The only thing i don’t like is the seat. but its all good. haha. Its all part of the Lords Work. i got a letter from a girl in my district at the mtc and she said that she was put in an english area for the frist part of her mission. How grateful I am that I got to work with spanish here before leaving. That would have been rough.

O goodness how could I forget. So we had temple service this week. The assistants came this time. and we got talking to them and the reason they put two people that are going home really soon with me is because they are gonna put sisters in this area next transfer. bringing in spanish sisters to baptize the ward awe ya haha. So that was pretty funny. But ya They’re hopping i get my visa this transfer or it might be a little tough finding a new area for me. and And hey its all of God so I’m guessing the visa will come through this transfer. 😀 Its like the second comming almost. haha. I know its comming but I don’t know when haha. So i’m doing me best every day to be the best missionary i can be here. Preparing every day to be the best I can be. Thats the best way to describe it. YOu want the second coming to come but you don’t at the same time haha. Ya perfect description right there haha. But ya life it great! I love it.

Oooooh another thought. Read President Packers talk from last conference. So good. I love his poem. You can learn so much from him. Such a great guy. Its so good to just learn from people with that much wisdom. Wisdom in God. Its the best! I invite you all do read that! Tell me how that goes. What you learn from it pretty please! That always makes me happy to know what others learn! 😀

Anyways till next week my beloved Family!,
